The Hayle Estuary

The Saltmarsh and lagoon at Ryan's Field, near the Hayle Estuary is a wonderful place to watch Golden Plovers, Lapwings, Redshank and Black-tailed Godwit,  which were among the birds feeding in the lagoon. I found this RSPB site fairly easily signposted off of the A30, their is a small car park and a hide which is open to the elements  but affords a great view over the marsh.

Black-tailed Godwit - Limosa limosa & Redshank - Tringa totanus

Golden Plover -  Pluviarlis  apricaria  & Lapwing - Vanellus vanellus

Grey Heron - Ardea cinerea

Lapwing - Vanellus vanellus
