A UK wildlife photographer with over 30 years of professional activity, including 14 years working as the in-house photographer for the RSPB. Now freelance he works with the WWF (UK) Natural England and the Environmental agency,  as well as the BBC Wildlife Magazine.
He has also written several books and leads tours and workshops in the UK and abroad.

Chris Gomersall has a background in Zoology and plant biology, with experience as a nature reserve warden, carrying out field research. His photography promotes biodiversity, advancing nature conservation.

Whilst Chris is a wildlife photographer, I have chosen to focus on his bird photography, especially shorebirds, seabirds and waders.
His work history is inspiring, especially working with conservation groups such as the RSPB and WWF.

I would like to follow a similar pathway, working with conservation groups with a leaning towards bird photography and conservation. I am hoping to improve my photography in this area to capture imagery such as those taken by Chris Gomersall
