The Hayle Estuary

The Saltmarsh and lagoon at Ryan's Field, near the Hayle Estuary is a wonderful place to watch Golden Plovers, Lapwings, Redshank and Black-tailed Godwit,  which were among the birds feeding in the lagoon. I found this RSPB site fairly easily signposted off of the A30, their is a small car park and a hide which is open to the elements  but affords a great view over the marsh.

Birdwatching..

As a volunteer for the Cornish Wildlife Trust, I helped out today with Birdwatching along the Camel Estuary. We spotted lots of waders, as well as ducks, and even a buzzard.

These images were taken with a 100mm - 400mm lens, and give me good record images of these species of waders.
